About The Course
When your child reaches Vocals Grade 7, they will be on their way to becoming a professional vocalist. So it's time to up their game by mastering advanced stylistic techniques, sustained note bends and large intervallic leaps.
For the examination, our teachers help the student master a series of extended performance pieces from the likes of Hozier, Sarah Vaughan, Jeff Buckley and more as prescribed by Rockschool for the Grade 7 certification exam.

- 3-part backing vocals, applying advanced stylistic techniques, musical improvisation and development, harmonising in 3rds and 4ths, tonal control, chromatic step phrasing, sustained note bends, extended range and large intervallic leaps
- The harmonic minor scale and augmented arpeggio
- Major/minor interval sequences, legato/staccato phrasing and microphone technique
