About The Course
If your child has been learning Tabla for more than 6 months and has mastered the basics up to the foundation level, then the Spardha Tabla Method Book 1 course is perfect for them. In this course, they will be introduced to
complex rhythms, coordination, and musical understanding.
They'll learn how to play contemporary rhythms, folk rhythms and more. The course also focuses on building up coordination skills, combining the different notes played on both the tablas, giving your child the opportunity to play
a variety of pieces. It's a great way for them to take their Tabla skills to the next level!
Prerequisites
- Ideal age of student - 8 years or above
- Interest in music and learning the instrument + willingness to practice regularly
- Student must have their own Tabla, so that they can practice and hone their skills

- Basic Kaydas in Teentaal
- Posture and fingers
- Concept of Tihas and basic application
- Concept of Dugun, Tigun
- Basic Dadra, Keherwa Cycles and Recitation
- History of Tabla and life of famous Tabla players
Learning Outcomes You Can Expect
- Demonstrate 10 basic kayda’s in Teentaal
- Recite rhythms in Digun and Tigun
- Play basic rhythms in Dadra or Keherwa
- Play a few compositions along with Lehera
