About The Course
Does your child have what it takes to become successful in the music industry? The Indian classical method book 1 is the first step towards becoming one!
This course is a beginner level curriculum of classical singing with practical and theoretical knowledge of Indian classical music. During this course, the student learns the basic concept of swar, taal and ragas of classical music.
Prerequisites
- Must have completed foundation Vocals course
Topics Covered
- Introduction to Raag Yaman, Bhoop & Durga
- Alankaars Level 2
- Aalap & Taans
- Study of different Taals
- Hindustani Music Theory
- 2-3 Bandish compositions
- Thaat and its notes, Raag and its characteristics
Learning Outcomes You Can Expect
- Perform any two Ragaswith an understanding of their structure, key phrases, and mood.
- Student will sing Alnakars to develop vocal agility, precision, and control across different scales.
- Understand and Apply Different Taals such as Teentaal, Dadra, and Keherva, improving rhythmic accuracy.
- Grasp Hindustani Music Theory, including the concepts of Swaras, Thaats, and Bandish composition structure.
- Students will be able to sing 2 Traditional Bandish Compositions with correct pronunciation, ornamentation, and Taal coordination.
