About The Course

This course is a beginner level curriculum of classical singing with practical and theoretical knowledge of Indian classical music. During this course, the student learns the basic concept of swar, taal and ragas of classical music.

- Posture and fingers
- Practice Of Shadaj and Seven Notes.
- Alankars Of Shuddha Swaras, Skip Note Alankars, Alankars which cover all 3 Octaves (alankars Of Shuddha Swar), use of all Notes of a Saptak in a different way, breathing exercises, Alankars of Vikrit Swaras.
- Taal, Matra, Laya, Vibhag, Sum, Taali, Khaali / Kaal, Avartan
- Dadra Taal (Thaah Laya), Alankars in Taal Dadra, Sargam Geet in Taal Dadra (with only Shuddha Swar), Keherwa Taal (Thaah Laya), Alankars in Taal Keherwa, Teentaal / Tritaal (Thaah Laya), Alankars in Teentaal, national anthem (based on Raag Bilawal)
- Thaat and its notes, Raag and its characteristics
- Vaadi and Samvadi Swar, Anuvadi and Vivadi Swar, Varjit and Nyas Swar, Raag Jaati, Lakshan Geet, Khayal, Taan and Alaap.
- Chhota Khayal in Raag Bilawal (Madhyalay Tritaal), prayer based on Raag Alhaiya Bilawal.
- Sargam Geet, Lakshan Geet, Chhota Khayal, Shlok based on Raag Bhoop, Song (geet) based on Raag Bhoop.
- Chhota Khayal and Bhajan based on Raag Kafi.
- Introduction of Pandit Vishnu Nrayan Bhatkhande & his contributions in the field of music
