BSPM Prarambhik - Level 1
About The Course
Prarambhik is the initial level of Bhartiya Sangeet Prasaraj Mandal (BSPM) grade exams. It offers students a foundational experience in music education. You will start by learning essential voice culture techniques and engaging in vocal warm-up exercises.
The course also introduces the students to swar alankar singing and the basics of Raag Sangeet, featuring Chota khayal. Through this course, you build a strong foundation to ace the BSPM Prarambhik Level 1 exam. At the same time, you also develop discipline, perseverance, and patience, which can enhance your future career opportunities.
Our friendly and certified teachers hand hold the students through each step from applying to the exam, preparing for it, to getting their certificates.
Prerequisites
- Must have completed Spardha Foundation Course
Topics Covered
- Singing with Tanpura ( Sa.. Pa... Sa)
- Basic bandish/Songs in Raag Durga, Bhoop, Kaafi, Des and more
- Basic Recitation and clapping of Taals - Teentaal, Dadra, Keherwa
- Raag Knowledge and Theory
Learning Outcomes You Can Expect
- Sing in Tune with Tanpura (Sa...Pa...Sa)
- Sing Aroh-Avroh of at least 6 ragas
- Sing at least 2 chota kayal in any two ragas
- Sing at least 2 Lakshageet on two different ragas
- Recite different Taals on Claps
- Answer basic theory questions
