About The Course
Get ready for an exciting journey with our Level 1 Prarambhik course, designed to prepare beginner Carnatic Vocals students for the BSPM Prarambhik certification exam.
In this course, students dive into the basics of Carnatic Music with our easy-to-follow structure and study materials. Our expert instructors will be there every step of the way, helping your child find the pitch, improve their
breath and voice control, refine their singing style, and boost their confidence. Your child will even get the chance to perform live!
Plus, we'll make sure the student is on the right path to success in their musical journey and for the BSPM Prarambhik certification exam. Our certified instructors help the students throughout the process of applying for the exam,
till getting the result so they can focus on learning and improving.
Prerequisites
A good interest in any genre of music or 3-4 months of Carnatic singing experience.

Learning Outcomes You Can Expect
On completion of the Prarambhik course, the students will:
- Have a good understanding of the basic terms, sruthi, kala, tala etc.
- Demonstrate all Sarali varisais, Dattu varisais and Tharasthayi varisais in 3 speeds with talam.
- Demonstrate the Janta Varisais comfortably in 2 speeds with talam.
- Understand sapta talas and sing Alankaras in the 1st speed with talam.
