About The Course
Are you ready to kickstart your child's flute-playing journey? Welcome to Spardha's Flute Foundation Course, where we wholeheartedly cater to our students' musical aspirations!
In this course, your child explores the basics of flute playing, dive into Sargam, develop a basic understanding of Taal and Alankar, learn about Raga, and even get into the detail of Raga Durga and Raga Jhaptaal.
Prerequisites
- Interest in music and learning the instrument + willingness to practice regularly
- Student must have their own Flute, so that they can practice and hone their skills

Learning Outcomes You Can Expect
- Develop a solid foundation in flute playing, including proper hand positioning, breath control, and embouchure techniques.
- Learn to play basic Sargam (Indian solfege) on the flute.
- Understand the fundamentals of Taal (rhythm) and Alankar (ornamentation) and apply them to flute playing.
- Develop knowledge of different Ragas (melodic frameworks) and apply them to flute playing.
- Learn to play Raga Durga and Raga Jhaptaal on the flute, demonstrating an understanding of the unique characteristics and nuances of each Raga.
- Develop proficiency in playing with expression and emotion, and applying dynamics and articulations to enhance the musicality of flute playing.
