About The Course
Spardha Bollywood Vocals Foundation is the first phase in your child’s singing journey! This Foundation course is an introductory and mandatory course for the students who are beginning their musical journey with Spardha
school of music.
This course is a light version of Hindustani Classical to prepare our students for Indian Bollywood Vocals. The motive of this course is to identify the area of interest of every individual student and help them develop tonal quality
as well as build a grasp on vocal notes. Post completion, this course will help your child to find their capability and interest towards Hindi Bollywood Vocals.
Prerequisites
- Interest in singing
- Trust in the teacher

Topics Covered
- Singing notes in different style (Aa, E, O, U, Aey)
- Identification of Keys of Harmonium or Keyboard/Piano
- 3, 4 and 8 counts and practice to identify the Sam
- Introduction of 7 Shuddha Notes
- Simple Alankars (With Shuddha Swar)
- Melodies in Notation
- Final performance (Film Song of your choice)
Learning Outcomes You Can Expect
- Develop tonal quality.
- Recognize their Pitch/Scale and it will help them develop listening skills.
- Develop basic rhythm sense.
- Get a command on notes.
- Understand the frequency of notes and the combination of different notes.
- Understand the notations of melodies
- Develop performance skills by preparing a song.
