About The Course
Praveshika Pratham is the second level exam at Bhartiya Sangeet Prasaraj Mandal (BSPM). At this level, the student learns the intricate concepts of Taans, Aalap, and Lakshan Geet.
Our dedicated teachers are here to guide you through the preparation for the Level 2 exam. And they help you master all the technical skills you need to excel in the Praveshika Pratham.

- Spardha Method Book 1 or Prarambhik Course

- Introduction to Aalap, Taans and Boltaans
- Basic Lakshangeet
- Raag - Bagheshree, Yaman, Bhimpalasi etc
- Taal - Teentaal, Jhaptal, Dadra, Keherwa
- Chota Khayal in different Ragas
- Indian Music Theory
Learning Outcomes You Can Expect
- Demonstrate basic Aalap, Taans and Bol taans in Bandish
- Sing atleast 4 bandishs/compositions on 4 ragas
- Recite Teentaal, Dadra, Roopal, Jhaptal, Ektaal on Claps
- Identify and differentiate between ragas
