ABGMVM Praveshika Pratham - Level 2
About The Course
Praveshika Pratham is the 2nd Level exam at ABGMVM. Students will explore concepts of Taans, Aalap, Sargamgeet and Lakshan Geet.
Our teachers will help you prepare for the Level 2 exam to help you sing different kinds of taans, aalap, sargamgeet, and identify and differentiate between ragas to ace the Praveshika Pratham.

- Spardha Method Book 1
- ABGMVM Prarambik
Topics Covered
- Introduction to Aalap and Taans
- Basic SargamGeet and Lakshangeet
- Other forms like Dhrupad, Bhajans
- Introduction to taals like Roopak, Jhaptaal, Ektaal and concept of Dugun, Tigun
- Chota Khayal in different Ragas
Learning Outcomes You Can Expect
- Demonstrate basic Aalap and Taans in Bandish
- Sing Sargam Geet, LakshanGeet, Dhurpad and a Bhajan
- Recite Teentaal, Dadra, Roopal, Jhaptal, Ektaal on Claps
- Identify and differentiate between ragas
