About The Course
The Trinity Keyboard Grade 2 exam is ideal for your child if he/she has been playing the electronic keyboard for 12 to 18 months. They have mastered the basic skills up to Grade 1 and have since acquired greater use of
techniques, rhythms, coordination and musical understanding.
Your child will have the opportunity to develop improvisation skills and will be examined on their choice of three performance pieces, including classics like Summertime from Porgy and Bess, Air from Water Music and Homeward Path.
They will also learn keyboard-specific techniques such as single patch settings, layers, and the basic use of effects and sound manipulation like pitch bend.
