About The Course
The Rockschool Keyboard Grade 2 exam is the perfect opportunity for students who have been playing for a year to 18 months. This grade builds on the basics learned in Grade 1 and introduces new techniques, rhythms, and musical
understanding. Moreover, the exam provides an ongoing opportunity to develop improvisation skills, which is an essential skill for any musician.
During the exam, your child will need to perform three pieces from popular artists such as Kate Bush, Nina Simone and Pharrell Williams and demonstrate keyboard-specific techniques such as single patch settings, layers and sound
manipulation like pitch bend.
